On this final Sunday before our Lenten season begins, we stand alongside Peter as Jesus
transforms before us. We hear the powerful words, “This is my Son, my chosen. Listen to him!”
May we too be stunned and astounded by the greatness of God in the midst of our everyday
lives. The Chancel Choir sings “O Splendor of God’s Glory Bright” and the Children’s Choirs sing “I Am the Light.” The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 315 and 815, with the communion hymn printed in the bulletin.
