“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord,” proclaims Jeremiah. Jesus announces to all who are listening (and to us) hearty blessings and warns of woes within the demands of discipleship. May we continually delight and rejoice in the Lord as we trust in Christ’s way of being in the world. The Chancel Choir sings “Peace be in You.” The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 806, 728, and 723.
