The greatest temptations seem to be serving our own interests, grasping for power and control, and grandiosity. Jesus calls us to sacrificial service, loving humility, and lives of authenticity. The Philethia Choir sings “Follow Jesus.” The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 319, 374 (vv. 1&4), 328, and an insert in the bulletin.
