Jesus emerges from the waters of baptism and is proclaimed by God to be the Beloved. We too are promised in the waters of baptism to be God’s beloved. Karin McMillen and Jeffrey Raub sing “Jesukin” at the prelude, and Karin McMillen sings “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” for the musical offering. The hymns are from the ELW: 310, 305, 304.
