After the resurrection, Jesus returns to God. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the work of God’s grace and love for the world is now given to us. The Moravian University Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Neil Wetzel leads us in worship. They will offer “Heaven,” “God Bless the Child,” “Come Sunday” (with choir), and “Better Get It In Your Soul.” The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 779 (vv. 1-4), 697, an insert in the bulletin, and 422 (vv. 1, 3, 6, 7).
