We begin the season of Advent with a wake-up call: Christ is coming soon! In todayโ€™s readings both Jesus and Paul challenge us to wake from sleep and see Christ among us in word and meal that strengthens our faith in the promises of God. The Chancel Choir sings โ€œCome, Emmanuel, Come.โ€ The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 260, an insert in bulletin, 266, and 259.
