For 28 years St. John’s has been participating in Church World Services humanitarian efforts to provide relief to people around the world who are facing many types of hardships such as homelessness, natural disasters and emergency situations. The program provides blankets as well as hygiene kits, school kits, safe water, tools, clean up kits, training and other resources for long term recovery. An immediate need exists due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Laura. Also, in recent months the homeless across our nation have sought shelter and needed blankets during the COVID pandemic.
The Social Ministry Committee is once again asking for your support with this program. Envelopes are available at our Services for your donations of cash or check. You may also give your donations to the Church Office or go online here to donate.
Thank you for your compassion and for your generosity and support.
