Jesus is baptized by John in the Jordan River, and God’s voice is heard saying, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” You, too, are God’s Beloved! The Chancel Choir sings “A Baptism Carol.” The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 455, 305, 454, and 304.
