Altar Guild
The Altar Guild cares for communion ware, paraments, and the altar and makes communion preparations.
Church Library
The church’s library for children and adults is filled with fiction/nonfiction books and videos. It is located in the parlor of the church.
Family and Youth
Family and Youth Minsitry supports programs and activities that provide opportunities for families and the youth of our congregation. Family and Youth Ministry encourages all to participate in the Crop Walk held in October and other family related activities. We are open to new and fresh ideas to provide opportunities to share our Christian faith with others. Luther League is guided by Family and Youth Ministry. We meet the first Sunday of every month at 6 pm, immediately following Luther League.
Fellowship
Church gatherings include the church picnic, family night, and a golf tournament. Monthly fellowship hours are held after services.
Food Bank
The Nazareth Area Food Bank provides supplemental groceries once a month to Nazareth Area School District families in need. Sponsored by Nazareth Area Ministerium.
Grief Support Group
When someone we love dies, we often feel overwhelmed, frightened and lonely. Sharing our thoughts and feelings with others who have experienced a loss can alleviate our sense of aloneness and can give us needed encouragement.
A grief support group will meet Tuesday evenings, November 4th – December 9th, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church (1245 W. Hamilton St., Allentown). Katherine Von Bora Society
This dedicated group prepares meals and refreshments for various congregational activities including the annual congregational meeting, family night, and Lenten breakfasts.
Ladies Aid Society
Members create lovely hand made quilts and donate profits to the church.
Tape Ministry
Audio tapes of worship services are recorded and supplied for members unable to attend.
Women of the ELCA
Circle groups meet monthly to study the Bible and discuss issues of faith and social concern. Members also perform service projects for those in need.
