Hey guys! The Lock In is this Friday, January 15-Saturday, January 16. It will begin at 6:30 pm. Please enter the church through the doors by the church office. Cost is $5 plus a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Food Bank. This year’s Lock In will include pizza, pilo polo, crab ball, capture the flag in the dark, midnight devotions/love feast, movies, breakfast in the morning. The Lock In ends at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 16. Hope to see you all there!!
On Sunday, October 4th, we will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 4:00 pm to go to the Corn Maze. Cost is $8. Hope to see you there!
The May Luther League/Family & Youth Meeting has been changed to TONIGHT (May 4th) at 5:00pm in the Youth Room. We will be playing games, planning/choosing upcoming events, and more! All youth in grades 6-12 and parents or adults interested in being a part of this energetic ministry are encouraged to attend! See you tonight!
Sunday, May 3rd, at 5:00pm in the Youth Room, we will meet for our May Luther League/Family & Youth Meeting. Please plan on attending! We will be discussing upcoming dates/events as well as planning out events for the summer! We get Chinese food…if you would like to eat with us, please bring a couple dollars if you can! Come to St. John’s UCC Church on Saturday, February 14th for a Valentine’s Day Breakfast hosted by Lehigh Valley Youth Events! Come with your friends or bring your significant other. It is very informal and you can come anytime between 8am-11am. Cost is $6; if under 5 years of age, cost is $3. This will be a breakfast buffet, and may include waffles, omeletes, pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, assorted donuts/danishes, etc.
This is a great way to start off your Valentine’s Day! All proceeds will benefit Lehigh Valley Youth Events. We will use these funds to put together another fun event for youth in the community! Tell your friends and family and come out and enjoy a great breakfast!
On January 18th, at 9:15am (during the Sunday School hour), there will be a mandatory meeting for all youth attending the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans this summer, as well as their parents/guardians. We will meet in the new Youth Room (above the Jr./Sr. High Sunday School room). This will be an informational meeting that you cannot afford to miss. At this meeting, you will receive important dates, requirements, and other information. Please make sure that you plan on attending this meeting, and try to make sure at least one parent/guardian is present with you. See you then!
